Car Rental – Damage Management Policy
At Tremendoustripz.com, we know that most renters drive responsibly and accidents are rare.
However, in the unlikely event that your rental vehicle is damaged, it’s important to understand
how such situations are handled.
This Damage Management Policy explains how charges may apply if damage occurs. For full

1. Liability for Damage
Your responsibility depends on the rental protection coverage you selected when booking:
- In some cases, you may not be liable at all.
- In other cases, you may be partially responsible.

2. Types of Damage
Charges vary depending on the severity and type of damage:

Light Damage: Minor scratches, dents, chips, or loss/damage of keys, accessories, or
documents.
- Tyre Replacement: Damage requiring a new tyre.
- Serious Damage: Damage beyond light damage or tyre replacement, but not total loss.
- Total Loss: Vehicle deemed beyond repair or uneconomical to fix.
3. Damage Identified During Vehicle Return
Our team will inspect the vehicle in your presence upon return:

Light Damage:If minor damage is found and acknowledged, an invoice will be issued and Charges include the Light Damage Administration Fee as per our Tariff Guide.
- Serious Damage or Total Loss: You will receive a vehicle return statement with details and photos and An invoice will include:
- Relevant Administration Charges (Serious Damage, Tyre, Windscreen)
- Engineer’s Assessment Fee (except for tyre/windscreen damage)
- Loss of Use charges for vehicle downtime
4. Damage Identified After Rental Completion
If damage is discovered after you return the vehicle, we will provide:
- A detailed return statement
- Photographic evidence

An invoice including applicable Administration Charges, Engineer Fees, and Loss of Use
charges
5. Claims & Disputes
If you disagree with any charges or wish to raise a query:
- Contact us within 14 days of receiving the damage documentation.
- If no response is received within this period, charges may be invoiced as per policy.
